This resource has been prepared to accompany the book 'Managing Innovation' by Joe Tidd, John Bessant and Keith Pavitt. It contains a variety of tools which you can use to help think about and work with themes and issues raised in the book.

There are many ways of using the Toolbox:

• simply browsing the A—Z for ideas
• looking for tools to help with a specific topic (for example, tools for scanning the environment or for strategy development)
• looking for tools associated with a particular theme or section in the book (for example 'How to build the innovative organisation' offers tools linked to Chapter II of the book).
